Zookeeper Graphic Novel Volume Two: To Sacrifice One…

Zookeeper Volume Two is the second instalment of the continuing journey of John, a botanist fighting for survival in a world empty of humans. Hiding and hunted, John is shattered from his search for other survivors while staying one step ahead of his relentless pursuers. Haunted by guilt and wracked with fear, can John keep his head level long enough to survive his second game of lost and found? How much of one’s heart are they willing to sacrifice to save humanity’s soul?

“Get up, old man. Your duty isn’t over yet. Not by a long shot. Consider your relentless search to be a reflection of your relentless nature. It is both our punishment and saving grace at the same time.” John, Zookeeper Graphic Novel Vol two

I’ve just finished reading volume 2. I have no words! So amazingly written, illustrated, the suspense! I couldn’t put both volumes down. I had to read each of them start to finish in one night. I highly recommend every single person to buy the Zookeeper Graphic novels.

I can’t wait to see what volume 3 brings, until then……
Thank you Benjamin, you are an amazing writer, colourist, and designer!

  2. Craig Deaves

Picked up Vol 1 and 2 at Edinburgh Comicon and binge read them on my flight to Dubai last night. An amazing, compelling story, beautifully illustrated and paced. You feel equally frustrated by John and sympathetic to his situation. Hugely entertaining and thought provoking. Can’t wait for Vol 3.
